/Music - other works

The Nomadic (2007)
This is an example of more traditional music composition. Written for two violins, 'cello, piano and percussion, it is a work intended to evoke the feeling of wandering from place to place, through different environments and settings. As with much of his music, it would be ideal to accompany visuals of some description.

Writing for widely diverse genres is something that has been a major part of Benjamin Tatlow's musical journey, as can be heard from the following samples.

Prelude (2004)
An atmospheric, evocative work.

Storm (2005)
Drums and bass play an important role in this forceful composition.

Insanity (2005)
An eclectic mix of jazz, electronica and downright weirdness!

Hades (2005)
Inspired by exploring the myth or Orpheus as told by composers throughout the ages, specifically Cristoph Willibald Gluck and Harrison Birtwistle.
